In Invincible by Amy Reed, Evie thought that she would be dead with her terminal cancer by now but she isn’t. She is ready for death, but grateful for the days she wakes up alive, but one day she is given a second chance to live. This isn’t as easy as it seems. She feels out of place in her life, like she has been left out. All she wants is to not still be the Cancer Girl in the eyes of her friends and family, and for her boyfriend to relax. Then she meets Marcus, and he is the first person that makes her feel truly alive, but this is only the beginning.
Yay! A cancer book where someone isn’t dying. I am so done with books with a main character dying. This seems like the start to a good series, plus it screams romance and contemporary! Why not go for it! I also really love the cover!
